After work tips after the POWTECH

NürnbergMesse Culture & Events after the POWTECH

Looking for an experience? Nuremberg has lots to offer throughout the year.

In the culture & event tips, you’ll find personal recommendations by NürnbergMesse employees.

Easter Market

The Easter Market on Nuremberg’s Main Market Square has a long tradition – it is the oldest market in the city. At almost 100 booths, household goods, ceramics, textiles and items of daily use are on sale. Naturally, you’ll also find Easter items such as painted eggs, Easter decorations, books and more. The main focus of the market is tableware and household products, which is why the market is also called the “Häferlesmarkt”, “Häferle” being a German word for a ceramic mug.

Visitors have not only a lot to see, but – if hunger and thirst strike – much to taste and enjoy. Everywhere in the market you’ll find booths with sweets, beverages and good things to eat – there’s something for everyone. The market bread shop is a special highlight and cooking demonstrations let you try this or that culinary masterpiece.

Opening hours: 05. – 22 April 2019, daily 10 a.m. - 7 p.m.
