The Secrets of Powder Dispersion into Liquids
Powders consist of particles that touch each other. When they are dispersed in liquids, these particles must be completely enveloped by liquid and must no longer touch each other, otherwise there will be lumps and agglomerates. In the dry state, powders have a much larger volume than the liquid in which they are being dispersed. The secrets of optimal dispersion are based on high speed, an increasing vacuum and specifically directed wetting work under intensive shear.
