The Evolution of Bulk Material Process Automation

The automation of bulk solids processes is becoming increasingly demanding. Instead of considering the individual sub-processes separately, plant operators today want the continuous and uniform automation of all sub-processes. The presentation describes ways to meet the challenges that arise. Particularly in brownfield plants, considerable productivity and quality improvements can be achieved by dissolving isolated solutions and standardizing and simplifying operating concepts.
