Spheroidization of natural Graphite

In the past 10 years, the demand for battery materials as well as the quality requirements increased. The decisive quality parameter in battery production is their performance. By rounding graphites, the performance could be increased due to the higher packing and energy density.
At Netzsch, a process chain has been developed by means of which graphites are efficiently spheroidized. For this purpose, the material is first pre-crushed in a classifier mill and afterwards, the material is spheroidized in the GyRho.
