Safe handling of bulk materials under containment requirements up to a OEB 5 level

The safety requirements for handling bulk materials will increase constantly. More and more raw materials get higher risk classifications or technologies are increasing where toxic materials need to be handled (Battery manufacturing). HECHT Technologie GmbH has 40 years of experience in handling bulk materials in a safe way. The presentation will include first a short basic containment information and the today definition of the Occupational Exposure Limits (OEL) and the corresponding Occupational Exposure Band (OEB). After that, examples will show how bulk materials, stored in FIBC, IBC, drums, could be discharged or filled up to a OEB Level of 5.  Additionally sampling devices will present where samples can be taken totally dust free (OEB 5).
