PolarDry® - Electrostatic Spray Drying as alternative for Lyophilization Vortragssprache Englisch

Lyophilization is a widely used technique in the pharmaceutical industry to isolate or stabilize thermal sensitve products such as peptides, enzymes and microorganism. The main advantage of lyophilization is the possibility to process a thermal sensitive product at low temperatures and maintain a high viability, stability or biological activity. However, this leads to long process time and high energy consumption, resulting in higher operational costs.

The PolarDry®, Electrostatic Spray Drying process offers the possibility to spray dry heat sensitive products at low temperatures and leads to fast processing and less energy consumption.

In this presentation, you will learn about the working principles, the advantages for thermal sensitive powder product application and different possibilities of a innovative spray drying technology.
