Smart Sensors

HBK has a long history of expertise in sensor technology and sensor electronics and now combines both disciplines. The first result is two series of "smart" miniature force sensors.

In modern production lines, costs and reliability are decisive parameters - HBK's smart sensors help in both respects: on the cost side, extremely short set-up times, universal handling of the IO-LINK interface and very low wiring costs are target-oriented features - on the reliability side, HBK's smart sensors offer a special monitoring algorithm that warns promptly in the event of overloads - usually before damage occurs.

Not to be underestimated is the advantage that with the new technology, communication is possible right down to the field level and - a characteristic of IO-Link - the sensor technology works with all field bus systems.
