Teflex NP Black is a connector made from pure PTFE material and can run at both extreme low and high temperatures. It can be used across the full pH scale and offers excellent surface resistivity (10⁶). The term “NP” means non-permeable.
Application:
Ideal for caustic and acidic products as it will not affect the PTFE material.
Capable of running at very low (-73ºC/-99ºF) and very high temperatures (continuously operating at 300ºC / 572ºF with short-term surges at 316ºC / 600ºF).
We also have other connectors in our Teflex range that are also made with pure PTFE. Our Teflex NP Opaque is a semi-transparent option of the Teflex NP Black. Teflex Woven is a breathable PTFE connector that can withstand the movement of processing machinery.
