PELLETIZING DISC

Pelletizing discs from CEMTEC are the preferred equipment when uniform pellet size and ease of control are critical when forming fine ores into spherical pellets up to 20 mm in diameter.

The size influenced by the plate angle, plate speed, and arrangement of solid & liquid feeds is automatically controlled as the pelletizing plates are flexible in use. Laboratory and pilot tests are used to determine best possible flow diagrams, equipment sizing and scale-ups.

All platter inner bottoms are lined with "expanded metal" and the platter edges are coated with polyethylene sheets to reduce abrasion wear. The bottom and scraper supports provide the best possible stability, and the disc angle can be adjusted without the need for extra adjustment of the scrapers.

With the help of individually mounted plows in pusher design, the product layer is easily controlled and distributed over the entire area. The rotating axle base is mounted on abrasion-resistant heavy-duty roller bearings.
