Essentially, the burner is designed for the combustion of pulverized materials such as lignite, biomass, sewage sludge, etc.. However, gaseous and liquid fuels can also be used. Depending on the concept, automatic switching of fuels is possible without the need for rebuilds and associated downtimes. The use of alternative fuels allows considerable cost savings and long-term planning. In areas with lignite mining, the use of pulverized lignite is a cost-effective and environmentally compatible alternative.

Even the largest hot gas generators can be built without lining. They are durable and completely insensitive to rapid temperature changes. The use of return gas is possible and saves not only on fuel costs but also on filter costs.
