Since 1919, the name Merz has been synonymous with reliable engineering that’s “Made in Germany”. The systems and machinery manufactured by merz Aufbereitungstechnik GmbH are used in most areas of bulk-goods processing, predominantly in the industries of raw materials, chemicals, pit and quarry, pharmaceuticals and recycling.

Our range of products spans from small lab mills to mills and crushers with throughput capacities of 150 tonnes per hour. The feed grain size can be up to 300 millimetres, while the target grain size is usually under 10 millimetres, and potentially as low as a tenths of a millimetre. We also offer the entire spectrum of conveyor technology, such as bucket conveyors, vibrating conveyors, roll feeders, dosers, screeners and classifying machines.

We also make rollers from ceramic and special metals as well as stainless-steel machines with explosion proofing, protective gas and roll cooling, depending on your individual requirements. All systems and machines can be custom-fitted to cope with a vast array of climate conditions and ensure consistent process reliability. Almost anything is possible – contact us for a consultation.

We plan and manufacture a wide range of products – from individual machines to complete, multi-level systems for processing bulk goods. Our strengths lie in the flexibility and expedition of a small company combined with an extensive know-how that has been cultivated over many generations. In recent years, we have strengthened our team with employees from industries that we operate within.

Consultation, construction and production and a large technical centre for testing can all be found at the same site. Carrying out these processes in close proximity leads to more credible results. The vast majority of our components and raw materials are sourced from regional suppliers. With a production depth of over 80% and long-lasting relationships with suppliers and employees, we are perfectly situated to deliver “Made in Germany” quality and guarantee our customers a lifelong supply of original merz replacement parts.

All systems and machines are assembled and tested in-house before delivery. This ensures rapid construction and efficient commissioning carried out on site and, if desired, by our service technicians.
