Air slides are the most economical way of conveying powders. Air slide is designed for transport fluidized material taking advantage of its variable properties while in that condition. The most common application of air slides is conveying at a declination of 5-15°, the angle depends on the type of transported material. The efficiency depends on the transported material, air slide declination angle and the aeration fabric. Air slides are most often used over the length up to a few hundred meters.
