The BEHN + BATES gravity packer

is the all-round solution for grainy, granular and lumpy products, e. g.:

Pellets
Frozen food
Cereals
Etc.

The product is filled according to the gravity principle either by a curved or by a straight gravity tube - without additional conveying air or mechanical assistance.

Depending on the filling product slide gates, flap gates or vibratory conveying chutes are used for proper product dosing. For optimum product densification the gravity packer can be extended to incorporate a vibrating compactor.

The extra: Manual open-mouth bag filling by the gravity packer

The gravity packer equipped with our special open-mouth bag filling spout can fill all common types of pre-fabricated open-mouth bags, too. The empty bag is applied onto the filling spout. The filling - carried out in most cases according to the gross filling principle - is started by an operator button. The filled bag is removed manually from the filling spout and transported to the closing station, for example a sewing machine.
