Digital DT 950 Series Dissolution Tester

The ERWEKA DT 950 Series is our first digital dissolution tester on the market, equipped with the most advanced technology for the requirements of today and the challenges of tomorrow.

With state-of-the-art embedded PC technology, the DT 950 is the first of its kind. The 7" touch display with a modern user interface focuses the user on the most important task the DT 950 has to fulfill - 100% USP/EP/JP compliant dissolution testing, without distractions and errors. For this purpose, we have designed the ERWEKA TestAssist, an intelligent helper that guides the user step by step through the con-figuration of the dissolution test, provides assistance and makes sure that only compliant parameters can be entered.

In addition to the modern user interface, the DT 950 is completely future-proof. With our „Upgrade your DT“ programme, it can be upgraded at a later date - e.g. from 6 up to 8 test stations, with an automatic tablet drop or an automatic sampling station, if the DT 950 is to be upgraded to a dissolution system at a later date. A switch form low-head to high-head mode is also easily possible at all times. Thanks to the advanced embedded system, software functions for the touch display can also be added later.

With all these innovations, however, we have not lost sight of the most important thing: The DT 950 Series are 100% USP/EP compliant.

DT 820

The ERWEKA DT 820 series offers advanced intelligence and user-friendly features for stand-alone operation or control of a complete dissolution offline sampling system. It allows storage of up to 60 product test run parameters that can be recalled for future tests.

The unit can be equipped with 6, 7 or 8 test stations and be used in standard high-head or low-head mode. It provides an OQ traffic light to show USP/EP compliance as well as an external temperature sensor for checking the water bath temperature.

The water bath, made of non-leaking PET, is effortlessly accessible and allows for easy cleaning.

TAR Abrasion Tester

Overview

TAR

The TAR series is a USP/EP/JP compliant ERWEKA unit for testing friability and/or abrasion. Programming is easily performed by the symbol style keypad. The rotation speed can be programmed between 20 and 100 rpm and test run duration can be set in either time or total number of revolutions. During the test run, the actual rotation speed and the remaining test run duration are shown on bright LED displays. For larger samples, the complete unit can be set to the USP/EP required 10° position by a standard switching leg.

To increase the ease of handling on the TAR series, the friability drums do not have to be removed and opened for loading and emptying. Instead the friability drums can be effortlessly filled and emptied through a special opening. On completion of a test run, the samples are automatically removed into a container located under the drums.

The USB interface allows you to print-out the test parameters (time, actual/nominal speed) when a printer is connected.

ZT 120 light Serie

Compact disintegration testing

The ERWEKA ZT 120 light series is the perfect entry-level disintegration tester with one or two motor driven USP/EP/JP compliant test station. The compact unit of our light series is equipped with an integrated flow-through heater and a moulded one-piece PET water bath (no leaking / breaking, easy to clean) with cover.

The ZT 120 light series can be easily operated via a membrane keypad. Defined test run parameters such as run time and water bath temperature are entered with symbol keys and the actual values are then shown on large and bright LED displays. The run-time counter automatically starts as soon as the basket rack assembly is lowered into the test media.

ZT 730 Series

The ERWEKA ZT 730 Series with cable-free AirBasket automatically determines the disintegration time of samples by using a unique system of magnets and sensors. The ZT 730 is available with one (ZT 731) or two (ZT 732) individually driven test stations and is equipped with an integrated flow-through heater.

Its newly designed, cable-free AirBasket makes disintegration testing with automatic determination of the disintegration time as easy and fast as possible. Its electronics compartment is sealed, making it dishwasher proof. It‘s sensors are also highly durable and enable the AirBasket to be used in acidic media. AirBasket is available as type A basket with 6 test tubes for standard tablets, or type B basket with 3 test tubes for bigger tablets (according to USP/EP standards).

The reliable waterbath technology utilizes the thermal inertia of water to create a steady temperature for testing according to USP/EP standards. Its temperature sensor PT 100 allows constant control of the waterbath temperature. The ZT 730 series is controlled through an intuitive 7" touch-screen and is capable of storing and retrieving up to 200 products/methods with results and parameters.
