CHIP WASHING SYSTEM - TYPE PWH

The chip-washing system reliably separates sand, rocks, and other contaminants from chips. This system is an indispensable machine technology especially for use with chips purchased from third parties and strongly contaminated raw material to minimize the wear of all downstream components, especially the plug screw and the grinding segments of the refiner. The chip-washing system also pre-conditions the chips for subsequent fiberizing. 

Characteristics, Function

The chips are fed to the chip washing system. Here, a rotor dunks the chips under water and produces a high turbulence. Thus, the system implements the best separation of foreign bodies from the chips. Contaminants such as sand and rocks sink to the bottom and can safely be discharged.
Afterwards the chips are transported in the water stream into the dewatering screw where they are separated from the process water.
At this point the process water is discharged through screen plates. After being reconditioned and freed from unwanted solids, most of the process water is returned to the process cycle. The cleaned and conditioned chips are transported into the chip bunker of the refiner.

DRUM CHIPPER - TYPE PHT

Drum chippers prepare long and short round wood, slabs, saw mill waste, veneer waste, board trimmings, and various waste wood into high quality wood chips. Annual plants such as cotton stalks or bamboo can also be processed. The drum chipper size and design can be tailored according to the wood type or infeed material to be prepared and the desired wood chip quality. The most suitable sized chipper is determined by the maximum infeed diameter to be processed and the desired throughput capacity. The required chip length will also influence the performance rate of the chipper.

KNIFE-RING FLAKER - TYPE PZKR

The quality and consistency of flakes have a significant influence on board properties. Knife-ring flakers are flexible and can be individually adjusted to meet flaking requirements. The professional preparation of chips leads to the right flakes for particleboard.

LINE FOR TREE-LENGTH LOGS

At the beginning of the process for manufacturing wood-based panels is the technology for the professional size reduction of the different wood types. PRE-CRUSHER - TYPE PBEW "DRACULA"

The pre-crusher, type PBEW "Dracula" was developed to improve the capacity of downstream preparation machines and the size reduction of voluminous residual and waste wood such as packaging materials, pallets, construction wood and old wood furniture. The pre-crusher, in special design, is also suitable for the size reduction of flake- and MDF-packages. The voluminous feed material is pre-cut and dosed into the downstream process.

• Material feeding by means of a wheel loader or conveyor belt, depending on the installation of the machine

• Generously sized infeed chute which at the same time serves as a storage bin

• A slow-speed rotor tears off parts of the feed material which is further crushed on the downstream breaking combs
