Belt Scales

Belt scales are suitable for registration of the mass flow in continuous operation. If discharge devices such as vibro feeders, rotary vane feeders, screws, etc. are installed upstream, they can be regulated by the belt scale. Depending on the nature of the bulk material the belt scales are of „open“ design EBW-A, optionally with covered conveying channel or dust tight design EBW-H.

Loss-In-Weight-Feeders

for high-precision dosing of additives

Loss-in-weight-feeders combine the accuracy of a static measuring with the flexibility and efficiency of a continuous dosing system. Due to the flexible construction of the KUKLA-loss-in-weight-feeder strongly flowing and extremely heavily flowing materials can be dosed exactly. By means of loosening devices, which work asynchronously to the actual dosing system, the product is supplied to the dosing screw in a material-friendly and precise way.

Single and Multiple Roller Belt Scales

for installation into existing conveying belt systems

Their main application is measuring and totalizing of bulk material flow. The measured values obtained can serve as control input for downstream process steps. The decision whether to apply a single roller belt scale (EBW-E-…-…) or a multiple roller belt scale (EBW-M-…-…) depends on the speed of the conveyor belt as well as on the required accuracy.

Weigh Feeders

Weigh feeders are constructed for gravimetric dosing of various materials. AC-motors with frequency converters are used to regulate the belt speed. Depending on the set value and on the belt load the belt speed is controlled in a way to ensure that the dosing capacity corresponds exactly to the pre-set nominal value.

The simplest type is the weigh feeder for direct hopper discharge. For materials which are problematical to handle, special dosing devices such as rotary vane feeders, dosing screws, dosing rollers etc. are situated in front of the weigh feeders and are operated together with the weigh feeder in bloc control.

Depending on the nature of the bulk material the weigh feeders are of “open” design E-DBW-A, available with covered conveying channel or fully closed, and dust tight design E-DBW-H or with integrated rotary vane feeder E-DBW-A (H)-I.

For the dosing and weighing of fines and dust-like bulk materials (in completely closed construction) the weighing dosing screwfeeders can be used. The feeding of weighing- and dosing screwfeeder is done by a rotary vane feeder or a dosing screw. Through a fixed bearing on the feeding side and the bearing of the load cell on the discharge side, influences of the material transfer are compensated. On request, the screws can also be constructed in wear-resistant material such as Hardox. This type also can be used for products with high temperatures.
