The Kason Cantilever Centrifugal Sifters can be supplied to suit both gravity feed or as in-line models suitable for use in negative and positive pressure conveying lines. The Cantilever design supports the main shaft with two bearings at the drive end of the machine, and eliminates the need for a support at the oversize / reject end of the Sifter. This allows tool free quick and easy screen removal through a simple hinged and interlocked end door and offers users high standards of hygiene and ease of operation. The concept has proved so successful that virtually the whole range follows this design. Centrifugal Sifters offer efficient dust tight operation with low noise levels and no vibration. The Sifters are suited to a diverse variety of applications throughout the process industries, and they are available in ATEX Zone 20 internal, Zone 21 external type certified format.

Kason offers a wide range of different types of size reduction mills extending from coarse De-lumping / Pre-breaker units, through to ultra-fine Air Classifier Mills

The Kason Lump-Breaker mill is a heavy duty mill for coarse grinding and lump breaking applications.

The Lump Breaker can be supplied with conventional shaft support at both ends for heavy duty applications but for less arduous processes, it can be supplied with cantilever shaft mounting for improved access and cleanability.
The Lump Breakers can accept lumps up to 150mm dia., and reduce them to less than 2-3mm and are used for a variety of processes such as:-
De-agglomeration - Breaking down of compacted hygroscopic products that have agglomeration due to dampness or compaction.

Pre-milling - Pre-grind of very large lumps to a particle size small enough for further grinding. Coarse Grinding - Product is broken down for use (e.g. melting or dissolving) in another process.

Cone Mills are designed for intermediate granulation and de-agglomeration applications, with a gentle, low energy form of size reduction. Used for a wide range of applications including size reduction of fatty, heat sensitive, sticky, moist or fragile products. Cone Mills avoid traditional milling problems of noise, dust and heat generation.

The gentle grinding action of Kason Cone Mills, capable of control within fine limits, maintains a close particle size distribution with minimal fines generation, grinding to typically 250 - 300 micron particle size. Fine grinding Universal Mills are designed and constructed for aggressive, one pass milling.

A range of models are available to suit a variety of process and throughput requirements from a few kgs to several tons per hour.
Typical requirements are to grind materials of up to 3 Moh hardness down to less than 15μm particle size.

Universal Mills can be fitted with either Turbine & Screen, Pinned Disc or Ribbed Track grinding media.

The Kason Air Classifier Mill offer seven finer grinding capability, plus greater control over particle size distribution.

Typically grinding to a particle size in the region of tens of microns, the Air Classifier Mill serves all industries producing fine powders where control of grinding temperature and particle size distribution is of prime importance.

Particle size is controlled by fully adjustable rotor speed, classifier speed, airflow rate and feed rate.

Many materials that are milled have the potential to ignite during the milling process, and this must be accommodated in the mill design. As well as traditional vented systems, Kason specialise in nitrogen inerted and 10 bar PSR milling systems.

Kason VIBROSCREEN circular vibratory screeners handle bulk chemicals, minerals, plastics, foods, dairy products, pharmaceuticals and other materials ranging from dry bulk solids to solids-laden slurries.

They range in diameter from 460 to 2540 mm (18 to 100 in.) and are offered with single or multiple screening decks, separating particles in one to five pre-determined sizes from 50 mm (2 in.) to 25 micron (500 mesh), at capacities from several kilograms / pounds,  to more than 70 tons per hour.

Kason screeners are offered in gravity-fed and in-line pneumatic configurations, both of which are available as stationary and mobile systems equipped with numerous performance enhancements.

All can operate on a batch or continuous basis and are available designed and constructed to industrial, food, dairy or pharmaceutical standards.

The Kason VIBRO-BED fluid bed processors dry, moisturize, heat, or cool bulk solid material by causing it to vibrate on a screen or perforated surface within a rising column of heated, chilled, or moisturized air. Continuous air flow and vibration separate and fluidize individual particles, maximizing the surface area of material and, accordingly, the rate at which drying, moisturizing, heating or cooling can occur. The vibratory motion of the processor also serves to convey the material along a defined pathway for uniform processing on a "first in/first out" basis, and to evacuate the fluid bed at the end of each cycle.

Kason circular fluid bed processors maintain an unprecedented level of operating efficiency across a wide range of model sizes—from 450 to 2125 mm (18 to 48 inches) in diameter—for laboratory and pilot plant testing as well as batch or high-volume inline drying, cooling, or moisturizing of bulk foods, pharmaceuticals, and chemicals.
