About us

Iskra PIO d.o.o. is a company with domestic capital, which has a registered office and production facilities in Šentjernej in the Dolenjska region.

The company's main activity is the design and manufacturing of equipment for clean and cleaning technology. Additional programmes comprise of validation of rooms and production of ALU windows and doors.

The company was founded in 1991 after the insolvency of the company Upori d.o.o. and started operating with 18 employees. Today, after 29 years, we have developed into the company with 128 permanent employees and several contract workers. The company has been successfully managed all these years by the director Andraž Rumpret.

In 2001, the company marked its 10th anniversary by obtaining the quality certificate ISO 9001.
In our engineering, the company is constantly developing equipment for clean and cleaning technology on the basis of long experience and of course with an on-going education and innovation.
The company is basically the only manufacturer of such equipment in Slovenia, with which we equally compete on foreign markets. These represent 70% of our production.

The main clients are pharmaceutical companies, medical institutions, pharmacies, and research institutes at home and abroad. With an intensive recruitment of highly professional technical staff in recent years, we have been increasing the production volume and the quality of our products.
The company Iskra Pio d.o.o has an organized development department, which employs 30 engineers. The department deals with the designing of the equipment; it develops the mechanical part of production and constructs machines and equipment, which are also technologically processed.
Products are becoming more and more demanding and complex. We will continue to be positively oriented and will follow the progress at home, as well as on the European market with great optimism and ambition. We will try to successfully market and sell the products in Slovenia as well as in other European markets.

Air shower

Clean rooms

Clean rooms are placed in an existing object and are adapted to it. They are composed of several rooms, providing the user with appropriate working conditions. The ceiling distribution of HEPA filtered air is planned for all rooms, quantitatively adapted to provide adequate cascade pressure against the environment. At the same time, temperature and humidity are regulated.

We offer the complete construction of clean rooms, which means the production of floors, walls, ceilings, doors, glazing, assembly of elements in or on part-walls. The rooms are composed of aluminum panel walls and walk-on ceiling. We manage ventilation and purging, we take care of the entire logistics of material and personnel.

In clean rooms an adequate overpressure of clean air is provided, which prevents the contamination of dirty
air from the surrounding to the interior of the room. Sufficient quantity and proper air filtration ensure purity
within the room in the required levels. This allows built-in filtering in the ceiling panels
modules, with supply air conditioning, which is adequately controlled to ensure constant flow rates and
air exchange in the room. The control also provides alarming in the case of filter clogging. Filtration of inlet air is multi-stage, up to H14. The extraction of air from the room is carried out through suction grids in which a prefilter is installed. By extracting air from the room, we regulate the rom pressure. The grids are built into the panel wall of a clean room.

Windows are usually installed in the outside wall of a clean room for the passage of exterior light into the room. In the ceiling there are built-in lights suitable for clean rooms.

The clean room system is intended for the pharmaceutical, microelectronic and food industry, hospitals, laboratories or is suitable wherever controlled purity conditions are required.

With our systems, grades A to D can be achieved according to GMP or grades 5 to 8 according to ISO standard 14644-1: 2015.

Mist shower

General

In order to prevent dust particles from being transferred from the working environment to other clean spaces, the user takes a "mist shower" in the passage area after the completed work process. After the "shower" the user takes off the protective suit and draws it off in the intended storage site.

Advantages

Iskra PIO offers two options for mist showering:

Cabin with a mist shower, which represents a complete solution of the passage space
Module with a mist shower for an easy upgrade of existing personal barrier

The mist cycle is adjustable according to the specifics of each space and process. The efficiency of the cycle is checked by the PQ test.

Working principle

The water supply system and the nozzles installed in the shower room with water mist, provide adequate misting, which puts the dust particles on the surface of the protective suit. This significantly reduces the transfer of dust particles from the production area.

Control

The user starts the mist cycle by pressing the start button built into the personal barrier. The cycle is then performed automatically.

The control is provided by the SIEMENS controller and touch screen. The control system allows settings and automatic execution of cycles and communication with connected systems.
