Central cold water chillers in customized design

If several conveyor lines are used central generation of the required chill would be advisable.  Liquid coolers e.g. in the plastic and food industry or in process engineering are used to cool moulds, process substances, conveying air, and other media. Weisshaar liquid coolers of the FKL series are manufactured based on the customers’ demands and special works standards.

Cooling and drying of pneumatic conveying air

For the pneumatic conveyance of hygroscopic media such as icing sugar, whey powder but also flour, starch and/or plastic granulate and different chemical substances you need dry and often also cool conveying air. In particular, this is necessary in areas with high air humidity such as in large parts of Asia.

These substances are usually conveyed through rotary piston blowers or lateral duct compressors – in some cases also screw-type compressors – in the field of silo and silo dosing and conveyor technique. Weisshaar process air coolers and dryers of the LKTA series are used not only on the suction side but also on the pressure side. The waste heat of the compression cycle is reasonably and beneficially used for reheating the process air.

GKT series for cereal storage

Weisshaar cereal cooling units of the GKT series are used for cereal storage. Instead of chemical conservation methods Weisshaar use cool and dry air for cereal conservation. The units of the GKT series are mobile and can therefore be used on many different sites.

LKTA series

E.g. when icing sugar, spices, cocoa, and similar food is to be ground the main point is not to reduce the humidity rate but rather to remove excessive grounding energy. The units of the LKTA series are above all used in many fields where inert conditions prevail. It is possible to use stainless steel and particularly hygienic designs.
