The Ventilex DryGenic® Air Dehumidifier is specifically developed for production and processing areas that are sensitive to moisture, temperature changes or micro-organisms. By dehumidifying these areas, condensation and metal corrosion are prevented, and fungi- and bacterial growth controlled. As a result, the production area becomes safe and perfectly controlled, thus significantly improving the working environment.
The air dehumidifier airdrying system utilises the principle of chemical absorption of moisture by a hygroscopic liquid salt. The air will be brought into close contact with this liquid salt for the moisture to be absorbed. Air dehumidifier dehumidification systems are specially designed to use low levels of energy and to minimise the total energy consumption. The system maintains the air at a constant, precise humidity level, regardless of weather conditions or load variations.
Besides the drying of the air, the air dehumidifier system also functions as an air washer for dust and gasses, in addition to ensuring the removal of almost all (70 to 97%) airborne bacteria. Air temperature and humidity levels are independently controlled by the air dehumidifier system. Simplicity and the choice of construction materials (industrial plastic) make the air dehumidifier a reliable machine with a long life span.
The air dehumidifier consisting of a conditioner and a regenerator is a very flexible system. Multiple conditioners can be connected to one single regenerator. As an extra advantage, the conditioner and regenerator can be divided. The regenerator can be placed in a technical room away from the conditioner, which is placed next to the process area.
The process air will be brought into close contact with a liquid salt solution, so that the moisture is absorbed to the desired humidity. At the same time the air is cooled to the desired temperature. This conditioning process takes place in a plastic scrubber called the conditioner. The regeneration of the DrySol is performed in the regenerator.
