Safety gates - Type X

The X-type mezzanine safety gate is an overhead gate that is particularly helpful when a fire door or sliding door is in the way. It can be easily installed behind the door and retains the functionality of the door.

The principle of operation corresponds to that of the type B pallet gate: the load is deposited on the platform or mezzanine when the gate is open on the edge of the void. In order to unload the load, the operator tilts the barrier by manipulating the rear guardrail: the pallet gate is closed on the void side and open on the mezzanine side. This allows the operator to remove the loads in complete safety.
