Innovative protection concept certified by VdS

T&B presents its innovative protection concept for belt dryers, which is based on the earliest possible detection of smouldering fires. The protection concept is currently the only one to be certified by VdS and is based on the combination of spark extinguishing and water spray extinguishing. The special feature is the direct control of the water spray extinguishing via the spark detection control panel. This procedure is patent pending. IR detectors in the exhaust air of the belt dryer allow smouldering fires to be detected at an early stage, which reliably prevents a rapid spread of fire.
