Need to shred small quantities?

Because you are in the control business or simply because your production throughput requirements are not significant, RITEC's BV shredding solutions offer you the possibility of shredding all types of hard materials with a particle size of 0 to 25 mm at the input for a final particle size of 10µ to 3 mm.

The installation consists of :

1. a basic unit, made of steel and equipped with an unbalanced motor

2. a grinding tube

To adapt to your requirements, the grinding tube and all parts in contact with the material can be made of steel or stainless steel 304L or 316L. The tube can be coated with alumina to avoid metallic pollution.

Working principle

1. The grinding tube is mainly filled with grinding media.
2. Your product passes through the tube continuously or sequentially.
3. The unbalanced motor under the tube creates an amplitude that transmits an elliptical movement that crushes the material.

Our BV shredders offer optimal shredding efficiency with lower energy consumption.

The outlet grate is calibrated to your needs to obtain the desired particle size with excellent homogenisation.

Industrial applications

The applications are as diverse as they are varied, mainly in the mineral industry where the products are generally medium to hard.

You will find our vibrating mills in grinding lines for :

clay, basalt, bauxite, limestone, calcium carbonate, fly ash, grog, lime, corundum, sintered dolomite, feldspar, ferrite, slag, lignite, magnesia, aluminium oxide, silica sand, silicon metal, glass, zirconia, etc...

Our vibrating mills are also used in other industries such as the pet food industry to break down and reduce protein powders, the recycling industry to grind waste glass or in the pigment industry where our mills are used to grind seafood shells.

Grinding bodies

RITEC is a distributor of grinding media for all types of shredders.

RITEC offers different types of shredder bodies depending on your input particle size.

For example, for grinding with an input particle size of 5 to 25 mm, we offer to equip the BV with special quality, wear-resistant grinding bars.

For shredding with a feed size of less than 5mm, we recommend special quality steel cylpebs with high wear resistance.
