1995
Gérard Meunier creates the company Formulaction SA and launches the Turbiscan™ MA1000, a revolutionary instrument based on multiple light scattering principle in static mode for stability analysis of concentrate dispersions (emulsions, suspensions, foams).
July 1994
Gérard Meunier develops a new concept of stability analysis of dispersions and registers on May 17, 1994, a patent entitled “Method and apparatus for analyzing the phases of a multi-phase mixture ». This is the first method which enables the measurement of opaque dispersions (emulsions, suspensions, foams), thanks to a backscattering detection system.
1992-1994
Professor Bothorel (Centre de Recherche Paul Pascal, Bordeaux, CNRS) registers a patent about a new way to characterize phases diagrams. This is the first step in the development of a vertical scanner using the transmission to analyse the whole length of a sample.
