Fast Response and Compact Size FTIR Analyzer for the Simultaneous Measurement of Multiple Components of Engine Exhaust Gas

Offers a 5Hz sampling rate and simultaneously measure the concentrations of multiple components including NH3, CH4 and CO2, engine diluted exhaust gas using the Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) method in combination with multivariate analysis algorithm.

The MEDAS system is a compact altitude simulator that reproduces a wide range of environmental conditions. It allows for testing light- to heavy-duty vehicles, including Non-Road Mobile Machinery (NRMM). It is ideally suited for a range of testing applications, such as durability, RDE replication, emission tests and mapping as well as tests from component to vehicle level. The patented technology inside the MEDAS system allows dynamic changes on the simulated atmosphere with high accuracy. The system can also be moved between different test cells due to its compact design.

This results in increased testing efficiency and economical facility operation, while enhancing reliability and accuracy. These advancements are possible because the MEXA-ONE software employs new "HORIBA ONE PLATFORM". This platform integrates the test devices in an emission cell into a single user interface, increasing efficiency and optimizing user control over the entire testing process.

OBS-ONE is the latest Portable Emissions Measurement System designed for engine/vehicle certification under real road conditions.

It measures concentrations of emissions (CO, CO2, THC, NOx, NO2), particulate matter, air-to-fuel ratio, exhaust flow rate, GPS data, environmental conditions (atmospheric temperature, humidity and pressure) and calculates mass emissions.

OBS-ONE features the highly adaptable, intelligent operating platform called “HORIBA ONE PLATFORM” which integrates other ONE series product data and optimizes test cell operation.

The high-precision chassis dynamometer VULCAN Evo is suitable for testing light-duty vehicles (LDV) and medium-duty vehicles (MDV). It is available as either a two-wheel or a four-wheel drive set-up. This chassis dynamometer simulates a realistic driving profile, which allows data from road tests to be reproduced in the laboratory. Possible applications cover the full vehicle development and certification process, including durability and fuel economy testing, State of Charge (SoC) testing, emission certification and climatic testing.
