DYNAmas

The DYNAmas flowmeter is used for continuous flow measurement of all kinds of bulk materials by applying the capacitive measuring principle. Accurate online flow measurement in free fall, as well as for pneumatic transport systems.
Product concentration and transport speed are simultaneous and independently measured, and then used to calculate the mass flow rate. Thus, the measuring system is independent of fluctuating transport speeds. 
The device, available in different nominal diameters, is easy to calibrate and its reduced dimensions allow hassle-free integration into existing systems.
In essence, DYNAmas contactless measuring is wear-free.
The DYNAmas flowmeter has been designed to handle any bulk material flow, starting already with small volumes. Accordingly, the device proves suitable for many different applications.
Configuration and measured values are displayed via the DYNAcon communication unit, which also provides various PLC interfaces.

DYNA M-flow

Using state-of-the-art microwave technology the flowmeter DYNA M-flow is designed for flow measurement in metallic pipelines from a few kg/h to many t/h. The system is suitable for on-line measurement of powders, dust, pellets, and granulates.

The measurement principle of the DYNA M-flow is based on the physical Doppler-Effect, whereas the sensor generates a uniform field in the microwave frequency range inside the pipeline. These microwaves are being reflected by particles passing through the pipe. Calculation of frequency and amplitude changes allows an accurate determination of the solid's mass flow rate. Nonmoving particles like dust accumulation are excluded from calculations.

Design

The DYNA M-flow consists of a probe, a DIN-rail transmitter, a welding branch and the PC-software DYNAvisual.

The process interface occurs by a welding branch, through which the sensor is screwed flush with the inside of the pipe. With this a flanging at perpendicular and horizontal pipes for free fall and pneumatic conveying occurs.

The probe is connected by a four core cable to a DIN-rail mounted transmitter with 4...20 mA, pulse output, error relay, RS232 and RS485 output.

For commissioning and calibration a notebook with our DYNAvisual software is needed. Calibration can be performed with either one or more reference points.

The measurement value is output either analogue or as digital signal. A serial COM interface is available at the front of the transmitter to connect a notebook computer and a RS485 interface for connection to a PLC system.

DYNAchute

DYNAchute is a chute weigher that combines proven and highly accurate velocity measurement and weighing technology to determine the mass flow rate of bulk solids.
In the robust system controller these both absolute values (without calibration) will be used to calculate the mass flow rate which will be given in analogue or digital form. An totaliser and a dose function make it possible beside the use of continuous dose measurement (kg/h) and the weighing of charges (kg).
In addition to the high accuracy in the range of per mill DYNAchute is featured by metering not influenced by solids properties and gives free flow through also when its switched off.

Present versions are not applicable for pneumatic conveying. Pressure resistant versions are in progress.

DYNAguard GM

The broken bag detector DYNAguard GM is used for the detection of filter malfunction e.g. a broken bag or an installation error.
The DYNAguard technology is based on a modified triboelectric principle detecting particles interacting with the sensing rod and such particles just passing the rod. Build up on the rod surface will not be detected, only moving particles generate a flow rate proportional signal which is monitored by the electronics. Three electronics versions are available with analogue (GM20), relay (GM01) or transistor (GM02) output. Adaptation is done under normal conditions by switches and potentiometer, DYNAguard's alarm level (GM01, GM02) can be set above this background. Signal damping is selectable by the user.

The length of the sensor rod should be 1/3 to 2/3 of the duct diameter, 800mm maximum.

The broken bag detector is installed on the clean gas side downstream the filter at a metal duct by welding on of a thread bush boring through the duct wall and screwing in DYNAguard. Upstream and downstream the sensor at least three duct diameters should be straight without any fittings like valves or dampers.

Comissioning is simple and requires no tools or speciali equipment.
