Gentle and Reliable Drying with AIRGENEX®food
AIRGENEX®food is based on a purpose developed and highly efficient drying technology which, by its alternative physical approach, is capable of combining seemingly conflicting features such as low temperatures and short drying times. The use of extremely dry air at temperatures between 20 °C and 90 °C combined with customised forced air routeing enables excellent drying results to be achieved. Food and feedstuff as well as food-related primary and secondary packages are thus dried in a most gentle and reliable manner. The so-called „heat pump based condensation drying“ is the ideal answer to many a drying issue. The integrated heat pump technology provides highest efficiency of the drying process. Drying is always accomplished in a closed system and is, thus, fully independent of the climate. Production environments are not affected. Positive results in terms of bioactivity, aromas and appearance are always achieved. The condensate produced is available for further use. AIRGENEX®food condensation drying is a flexible system which may be integrated in any process. Air dehumidification using a heat pump is suitable for both batch operations such as tray dryers, trolley dryers, drying cabinets or drying chambers and continuous operations. AIRGENEX®food drying systems meet hygienic design requirements.
Drying and Cooling
With minor modification, the AIRGENEX®food system may also be used for cooling if desired or required by the specific process.
