Advanced technological systems for chemical and food industry
The belt drier is designed mainly for continuous drying of different products in food industry (especially fruit, vegetables, breakfast cereals).
There are significant advantages of belt drier that need to be mentioned such as automatic control and modular construction of the drier that enables assembling every system.
The drier consists of drying modules, initial and final module. The inlet of raw material is located at the top of initial module and is fed by means of belt conveyor. The outlet of ready-made product is at the bottom part of the final module. Each module is equipped with an air heater and a circulating ventilator. In order to intensify the drying process the reverse (in relation to the product) air motion is applied (in one module the air moves upward, in the next one it moves downward). In the structure of the drier there are applied narrow sub-sieve chambers that by forming closed channels force a perpendicular flow of hot air through a bed of products. The dried product is conveyed by means of movable sieve, single-sidedly covered with teflon, two-sidedly fixed by the chains. The chain rollers roll on the replaceable sideways placed on angle bars and screwed to housing.
The drier consists additionally of air intakes along with filter, heaters, exhaust ventilators, pressure system of sieve washing, installation of feeding and carrying away the condensate.
