Moisture equilibration of powders, granules or pellets at controlled relative humidity.
Dynamic Flow Method
A defined gas flow with controlled RH is passed through a powder bed. The formation of lumps or air channels is inhibited by continuous agitation.
Completion of conditioning process is automatically determined by the instrument based on the continuous measurement of RH at the inlet and outlet flow.
Water uptake of the powder is calculated by a software algorithm from the gas flow rate, the temperature and RH readings.
The powder conditioner is connected to a MHG32 humidity generator or comparable equipment that provides a humidity controlled gas flow.
