Integrated micro controller, average function, limit evaluation, material flow control, digital processing of actual values, sensor replacement without new calibration are standard!
This digital sensor is applicable for almost all bulk materials, granulates, powders, mixings and blending, pastes, concrete and aggregates of all kind of industries.
The water content (moisture) is measured in-situ (real time) and the process can now be controlled, monitored and recorded.
The sensors are now available with latest digital technology with interface RS 232, bus compatibility (profi-bus) and analog-output 4-20mA and 0-10VDC.
ACO-moisture measuring systems can be adapted to the customers’ unique requirements.
A wide power supply voltage of 9-30VDC guarantees a compatibility to all common power supplies and prevents influences of unstable power conditions.
The housing is from stainless steel with a diameter of only 76 mm and is universally applicable. The penetration (measuring depth) of the sensor into the material is approximately 120 to 140 mm (depending on the material) and measures the core and the surface moisture of the product.
The circuitry is completely encapsulated within a housing of stainless steel.
An integrated temperature sensor (RTD) is available.
Latest technologies like digital moisture measuring sensors, Eex-sensors, field bus operated sensors and interfaces like RS 485 are some further developments in the field of moisture sensors.
