Flexible extraction table for grinding, cutting and welding
The ATM is a high-quality, modular extraction table with numerous configuration options. The table can be connected to a central extraction system and ensures a safe and clean disposal, directly at the point of origin. Various processes such as sawing, welding or cutting can be performed optimally through the variety of working surfaces. Depending on the quantity and the material type, the discharge can be extracted directly via a pipe system or be disposed of by a bucket. The side walls can be flexible, fixed or being replaced by additional extraction walls. All extraction walls are also available with tool holders.

The table is also available in a mobile version to ensure an optimal working process. The generous legroom makes the ATM together with the adjustable height (manual/hydraulic) to
a comfortable and ergonomic workplace.

During a dry extraction process, the material is collected directly by a collection element (e.g. extraction arm) and guided into a pre-separator via a flow-optimized piping system. A significant quantity of the dust can already be discharged at this stage and the introduction of possible sparks prevented. Additional safety is provided by sensors in the piping system, which trigger the automatic injection of extinguishing agent as well as the closure of the shut-off valve.

The remaining fine dust is completely separated by various filter media. For oily or greasy materials, we also use a precoating unit, which coats the filters at regular intervals to ensure the required degree of separation. Deposits in the piping system and plant are prevented by means of a constant air velocity of >20 m/s. By request, we also construct all plant components so that they are free from ignition sources, ATEX/TÜV-compliant and completely conductive. However, if a spark does manage to reach the filter unit, sensors automatically trigger the integrated extinguishing mechanisms and the plant shuts down.

The Wet Separator NAS is predestined for the separation of all those substances which cannot or only with great difficulty be separated in a dry process. In the machining of Aluminium, for example, explosive dusts which must be safely bonded and extracted occur.

The material reaches the suction nozzles in the mixer where it can be bonded in a generated water vortex and be discharged via a container or drain valve. The extracted dusts go  through a multi-phase filtration process and are reliably separated out. The cleaned air can subsequently be fed back into the room again. Perfectly matched components guarantee maximum performance with low energy consumption. This makes the wet separators from ULMATEC one of the safest solutions in dealing with flammable or explosive materials.
