Grenzebach BSH supplies complete plants for cellulose insulating material. The raw material (paper) will given dry and loose or (if the quality fulfills the customers requirements) in bales into the primary reduction unit. After this reduction, a flame retardant will be dosed to the material. The key component of our technology is a Whirlwind Mill, which provides particularly fluffy, optimally defibrated flocks. Furthermore, the flame retardant deeply embedded in the cellulose fibres. After the defibration, the material will conveyed pneumatically into the dedusting system. After the separation in the dedusting system, the material will conveyed into the packaging unit. In this unit, the material gets weight and packed.

We offer the possibility to produce the cellulose insulating material in a compact plant, which will be, if desired, installed and started up from our specialists. The leading cellulose insulating material manufacturers in Europe use our components, because of the excellent results.

Indirect water cooled or steam heated tube bundle heat exchanger for fine grained bulk materials.

Often used for high temperature cooling after kilns or dryers. Suitable for handling of high cooling loads and flow rates. Moving Bed Coolers can also be used to heat or sterilize powders. Food conform design is available.

Very gentle product treatment. No measurable wearing in the apparatus itself. The patented design of the exchanger tubes leads to a very good heat transfer and an utilization of the entire exchanging surface.

Indirect water cooled rotary tubes for cooling of high temperature bulk materials up to 1400 °C.

Sectional Coolers can be used for very fine grained particles as well as for coarse grained materials that contain lumps or agglomerates. Reactive products can be handled either. Dedusting equipment is not needed.

Due to its design the Sectional Cooler achieve good cooling performances and high flow rates with compact dimensions. The cooling system works without overpressure (no pressure equipment according to PED 97/23/EG).

The VACUPRESS machine is an apparatus for deaerating and compacting/densifying fine-grained, light powders to reduce their volume for packaging and transport.

The VACUPRESS has been successfully used in the bulk materials industry for more than 50 years. VACUPRESS machines serve as densifiers upstream from packaging systems to reduce the shipping volume and dust formation, as metering systems or as precompactors in combination with granulators.

Treatment in the VACUPRESS machine does not alter the properties of the product; what happens is that the particles form a denser arrangement. The products can easily be converted back to their original fine powdered state.

The Whirlwind Mill demonstrates its advantages at its best in pulverising and micro-pulverising soft to medium-hard products (up to Mohs hardness 5). It achieves very fine powder grades with a narrow particle size distribution and excellent upper fines limit. For a large number of applications a Whirlwind Mill can be a cost-saving alternative to the complex and expensive systems with sifter mills or conventional beater mills with downstream sifter used so far.

In addition to (micro) pulverisation in the < 100 µm range, the Grenzebach BSH Whirlwind Mill has proven to be very reliable and efficient in defibrating organic substances (paper, cardboard, cellulose, etc.), grinding-coating, cryogenic grinding, combined grinding/blending and grinding/drying.
