Dedusting Technics - PNEUFIX

Areas of application
The Stanelle Filter Type PNEUFIX is suitable for the de-dusting of pneumatically or mechanically conveyed filling, continuous and discontinuous, or conveying-processes in silos or bunkers. The PNEUFIX performs due to its rugged construction and its wide range of applications. The flanged filter housing of lacquered steel- or stainless steel sheet metal provides excellent protection during the final surge of the filling process. Through the integrated filter controls with differential pressure controlled 'on' and 'off' switching points, the continuous, around-the-clock PNEUFIX operation is made possible. Because of the high quality, star-shape folded, non-woven polyester covering of the filter cartridges, an especially low residual dust content is achieved. The filter cartridges lend themselves to many different applications and for use with media temperatures up to 130°C. The de-dusting of conveyor belts, elevators or other dusty apparatus is possible in conjunction with a supplemental exhaust fan. All parts coming in contact with the product can be designed for use with foods. Explosion-proofing a fully pneumatic filter control, or magnetic valves with explosion-proofed coils can be specified. As a special model, the PNEUFIX can be supplied in vacuum- or pressure resistant version as well as in heated or insulated design.

Operation
The PNEUFIX is regulated by a very economically working, fully automatic, differential pressure controlled filter regulating unit. This is internally wired to the filter, and permits free selection of the interval periods. As a result, optimal adaptability for each application is achieved. The 'on' and 'off' switching points for the start and end of the cleaning cycles as well as the beginning of the secondary cleaning cycle can be set individually on the filter control unit. The filter control unit is programmed for each individual application.

It assures the most economical compressed air consumption and prolongs the service life of the filter cartridges through the optimization of the cleaning cycles. Low maintenance costs result not only from the large inspection opening (400 x 300 mm), which provides rapid checking of the filter cartridges by means of the star grips, but the checking or exchange of the filter cartridges can now be done without tools. Responsible for this is the novel design of the weather hood. A simple catch permits the complete folding-back of the weather hood with its integral cleaning system. The filter cartridges are cleaned by using a fast bleeder valve which assures optimum filtration even during the cleaning cycle. The PNEUFIX, including a pressure reducing valve, is operational immediately after connecting to 110/230 V-AC power supply and compressed air at 3-5 bar.

Filling Systems - Flow-Bow

Area of Application
The Stanelle FLOW-BOW^® elbow serves to deflect dry, non-clotting bulk materials with a highly wear-resistant system around corners in dense, phase material conveying pipelines. Diverse areas of application are: from powdery and splintery materials to highly abrasive bulk materials, e.g. quartz sand, shotcrete, basalt chips as well as for cocoa husks and animal body parts utilization. For application in the plastics and foods industries special cast stainless steel (1.4408) models are available.

Operating mode
The FLOW-BOW^® is designed so that when conveying bulk materials, a buffer layer of the abrasive material itself is formed in the deflection area. On this, the bulk material stream is deflected with very little wear to the elbow. Because of the constantly changing buffer material cushion, the deflection area is still subject to abrasion. This area is therefore reinforced and the hard skin of the spheroidal-graphite cast iron provides additional abrasion protection. The material cushion is blown away completely by the final surge of the conveying stream. With soft bulk materials, such as for example marble, with a Morse hardness of less than three, granule crumbling can occur in the cushion material.

Material / Design
Spheroidal-graphite cast iron or cast stainless steel (1.4408). Lacquering hammer tone silver grey or glass bead blasted and rendered passive.

Loader - Silo Vehicle Loader

Jet-Loader TYPE JBM QUADRO

Area of Application
The Stanelle JET-LOADER TYPE JBM 220 QUADRO is designed exclusively for the loading of silo vehicles and containers with dry, trickle-flowing bulk materials. The application area encompasses the mining-, chemical-and pharmaceutical industries - also in the explosion-proof range.

Operating mode
The loader discharge cone can be lowered onto the open vehicle dome opening by means of the electric control. After extension of the closure cone, the winch motor is switched off electrically. Loading can proceed. Overfilling of the silo compartment is prevented by the filling level indicator. After the end of the loading, the loader discharge opening is closed off with the closure cone before lift-off. Material trickling out and ingress of moisture is prevented.

Design
Compact construction due to integrated winch motor with factory-set lift-limit switches. A slack-wire switch guided on a connector strip and the filling level indicator make possible short assembly times, every thing is well placed and operational safety. Square interior buckets, held apart via two strong supporting belts, protect the bellows against mechanical stress and center the bulk material stream. The hoisting lines placed between the bellows and the interior buckets stabilize the latter and assure maximum flexibility for the loading spout. The rubber coated discharge cone and the outside bellows guarantee highest safety for the dust feedback to the loader filter (optional). A closure cone, manufactured according to wear-reducing principles, closes the discharge cone and prevents bulk material trickling out as well as moisture and dirt ingress into the JET-loader. Additionally, a filling level control protects against wear.

Material
Made in steel or stainless steel, lacquering hammer tone grey, or other finishes on request. Models available with filling level indicators, grounded bellows, stainless steel interior buckets as well as explosion-proof motors are all available from the multifaceted delivery program. According to the physical properties of the bulk materials various specific filling level indicators are employed.

Silo Security - Overpressure and Vacuum Flap

Area of Application
The Stanelle overpressure and vacuum flap type SDAK is a safety organ for silos which are filled pneumatically. Overpressure as well as vacuum - the latter arising from exhaust fans or through rat hole collapses - can be equalized because of the combined design of the pressure flaps. The optimum protection of the silo is guaranteed through the maintenance-free construction of the SDAK flaps.

Operating Mode
The weighted, ball bearing supported flaps are opened through the outside, respectively to the inside pressure of the silos. In the unopened position, the rubber-coated flap discs are dust tight. With a negative pressure of more than 5 mbar the negative pressure flap is opened through the outside pressure. Outside air can stream into the silo for pressure equalization. When overpressure occurs in the silo interior, the flap, with an adjustable weight, opens. The excessive pressure can be neutralized via the flap opening. The special design guarantees that the actuating pressure does not increase excessively and the outlet opening can respond fully.
