Mixing and kneading in one single machine

´Eirich intensive mixers are known for their reproducible mixing results at the highest level in all consistency ranges, from the dry mix to the plastic compound. By configuring the mixer for the specific application, it is also possible to execute the final kneading process of a viscoplastic compound in one and the same machine to ensure an optimal shaping quality. This removes the need for the separate kneader that is often employed. Countless intensive mixers covering the entire process spectrum from dry mixing to delivery of the viscoplastic compound are in use across the world. Each user can test the viability of the treatment process for his original materials in the Eirich Test Center.

Type R12W mixer

The R12, the new mixer design line first presented at Powtech 2008, has now been joined by the R12W. In this type the mixing tools can be raised together with the mixing pan cover. This allows the entire mixing area to be given a thorough clean and makes the mixing tools particularly easy to change. The machine has the same features and offers a usable volume, depending on the version, of 250 l or 400 l. Alongside the excellent characteristics that have come to be expected of Eirich intensive mixers, the special design features of the R12W allow it to offer additional advantages in production with frequent recipe changes.
