• Infa-Micron HEPA filter designed as cassette filter (MKR) or cartridge filter (MPR) are double-stage filter systems mit multi-functional operating safety for dedusting of demanding processes, e.g. toxic dusts or powder.

The cassette filter system INFA-MICRON MKR is available as cleanable dust collector with one or two filter stages as well as non-cleanable, downstream safety filter. The filter sizes cover air volume ranges of > 500 m³/h. Big volume flows can be cleaned by parallel arrangement of several units. The 2-stage design guarantees residual dust contents as low as 0.001 mg/m³. Filter cassettes of class H13 are used as filter medium for the cleanable 1st stage and H13 to U15 for the non-cleanable 2nd stage.

Standard design features:

• Cleanable cassette filter in modular design with one or two filter stages with change of filter cassettes on the clean gas side
• Closed filter housing made of mild steel S235JR with hopper and dust discharge system respectively dust collection equipment
• Pneumatic cleaning device with movable nozzle arm (backflush system) for cassettes of the 1st filter stage. Cassettes of the 2nd filter stage are not cleanable and will be changed after reaching the maximum pressure drop
• Modular system for flexible adaptions to individual requirements, suitable up to +80 ºC
• Electronic, programmed control unit for filter cleaning triggered by time cycle or differential pressure incl. control of nozzle arm and shut-off valve, surveillance of single operating conditions by proximity switches and indication by plain-text display
• Use of particulate filter cassettes of filter class H13 and higher (HEPA), tested according to DIN EN 1822
• Filter cassettes in compact design with MDF-frame allow easy handling and thermal waste treatment (hazardous-waste incineration)
• Leak-proof test device for every filter cassette
• Cleanable filters with pneumatical clamping device

The cartridge filter INFA-MICRON MPR was especially developed for dust which are high potentially dangerous and also are filtration-technically demanding. Its horizontally inserted filter cartridges are cleaned by a jet pulse system, supported by a special injector. This method allows the separation also with adhesive or sticking dusts. In addition, the filter cartridges can be precoated or operated with a continuous additive supply. The cleanability is thereby preserved on a long-term. Efficiency of this filter series covers a wide range of filtration duties in pharmaceutical, chemical, metallurgical and nuclear-technical industry. The processes in these industrial branches are very demanding on dust separation efficiency. Maintenance staff can carry out the dust disposal and the change of filter media free of contamination with the help of the "Safe-Change" system.

The cartridge filter IPF is the new addition to the series INFA-JETRON of Infastaub. Versatility, flexibility, comfort and quality distinguish this filter type.

The cartridge filter is available in different constructions: with or without fan, with or without secondary filter stage, noise reducing additional components or different dust discharge systems for a dust discharge free or poor of contamination. Filter media in different qualities are selected depending on the kind of dust, e. g. suitable for food according to regulation EU 1935/2005 and EU 10/2011. A explosion protected design according to directive 94/9/EG (ATEX) is also possible.

The new cartridge filter allows numerous possibilities because of the modular design. An optional secondary filter stage increases the clean gas dust concentration up to 0,01 mg/m³. Increase of the volume flow is achieved by modular series design. Also a later installation of the safety filter stage is possible. 

Dedusting efficiency and a simple handling and fast maintenance of the filter unit were decisive for the development. E. g.. the cleaning unit is integrated in the housing, so a space saving compact design was achieved.

Compared to common fastening mechanisms, Infastaub has significantly simplified this system.

Because of a special fastening, the operating personnel can carry out the cartridge change without any tools. For this purpose, the front clamping rail only needs to be unfastened and the cartridges can directly and easily be removed.

The filter media change is carried out via the maintenance door on raw gas side, so that no additional height is necessary. Even the basic dimensions of the filter unit remain same with the new cartridges.

The filters Infa-Lamellen-Jet AJL and AJLS are highly efficient aspiration filters for separation of dry, non-sticky dusts. Filters of this series achieve a maximum filter surface area on minimum space requirements because of their pleated filter elements (filter lamellas). The series is designed for volume flows of approx. 2,000 up to approx. 40,000 m³/h. For special applications Infastaub equips the Infa-Lamellen-Jet with the „first rinse“ system. With this option the filter elements and the inner walls of the filter housing are moistened with water prior to opening the raw gas area. The exchange of the filter ele-ments is carried out fast and simply via a big frontal maintenance door.

Main range of applications

• For central de-dusting of machines and workplaces covering volume flows between 2,000 and 40,000 m³/h (one chamber or multi-chamber filter)
• For separating dusts in the industries food, chemistry, pharmacy, plastics, rocks and minerals, cement/lime/gypsum, energy (combustion power plant) etc.
• For dry and little adhesive dusts and residual dust contents down to 1 mg/m³

In addition the pleated element filter can be supplied with a secondary filter stage, called type AJLS, as it is specified for e.g.the pharmaceutical industry. Because of the downstream particulate filter cassette a residual dust content of < 0,001 mg³/h is achieved.

The 1st filter stage is regenerated by jet pulses of compressed air, the 2nd filter stage serves as so called safety filter and is changed after reaching its saturation limit. The lamella elements can be precoated additionally or run with a continuous addition of additives. The filter surface is much larger compared to flat filter elements because of the pleated filter fleece.

Their body reminds of the yellow plastic capsule of Kinder Surprise, however, they usually wear blue brace overalls, and they look around the world with one or two big round eyes.. Of course, we talk about the Minions. Their fans know and love them as loyal servants who constantly look for a master. This is also the task of the newest development of Infastaub: reliable dedusting. What could be more appropriate than giving the filter unit the alias “Minion”?

The filter unit with the official type designation AJM 150 is just 17 cm in diameter, has a total height of 51 cm and is equipped with only one filter bag. The version as non-cleanable secondary filter is labelled INF 150. The housing is made of stainless steel by default. On demand, it may be welded absolutely gap-free or two-sided, for applications of the chemical or pharmaceutical industry. A variation made of stainless steel is also available.

Due to the minimal construction height, the filter units can be installed in areas with height limitations that do not allow installation of other versions.

The pocket filter system INFA-JET is a flexible modular system for continuous de-dusting of machines and workplaces. 

The extensive series is suitable for volume flows of approx. 100 m³/h to approx. 25,000 m³/h. Almost every combination of design - high, low, round or rectangular - is practicable. During the filtration phase, the cleaning of the filter pockets or pleated filter elements is done in periodic intervals by pulses of compressed air (jet cleaning).

Almost every customer demand can be fulfilled with the pocket filter INFA-JET type AJN - we realise for you the most economical solution both within requirements of the process technology as well as in case of difficult spatial situations. For example:

• as vent filter with or without filter housing or with secondary filter stage
• without or with adjacent or flanged fan
• with dust discharge via rotary valve, double pendulum flap or dust bin
• in pressure shock resistant design respectively with constructive explosion protection
• variants with one chamber or multiple chambers
