Evolution of QICPIC Family | Powerful Image Analysis for Fine, Dry Powders > 1 µm
The versatile and flexible QICPIC/R Series and its proven high-performance image analysis is joined by a promising offspring. The QICPIC/L Series is winning in single range applications with its new pulsed light source, improved image quality and an outstanding measuring performance for fines and dry products. The unrivalled, high speed RODOS dispersion empowers image analysis to master dry and even agglomerating powders now as fine as 1.8 μm and above. Most prominent features are reproducibility and comparability of measurement results at optimized sample quantities.
With the introduction of our QICPIC/L Series, we have specifically enhanced our powerful PAQXOS application software in the areas of evaluation modes, shape parameters and volume-based particle models in order to achieve a perfect comparability to the classical sieve analysis, for instance. Particle size analyses with QICPIC/L guarantees a valid method transfer and full correlation with sieving.
While maintaining the defined quality criteria from sieving, a changeover to the powerful and versatile image analysis is a viable and worthwhile choice. In addition to the high-resolution particle size distribution, the QICPIC analysis yields all relevant size and shape parameters for the characterization of most diverse particles.
PAQXOS | Intuitive and Versatile Control and Evaluation Platform
With the new application software PAQXOS, Sympatec realizes an intuitive entry into particle size and shape analysis in laboratory and process. With automated system detection and an intelligent step-by-step wizard, first time users easily accomplish measurement success. For particle experts, the software offers full flexibility to implement more demanding applications and a comprehensive support during the development and management of dependable measurement methods. Results presentations can be chosen from a variety of fully customisable formats.
PAQXOS is realised as a powerful, future oriented 64-bit software for Windows® environments and ensures a high-resolution representation with scalable design, while the screen layout might span over multiple displays if desired. Sympatec systems and database servers that are connected and distributed within a corporate network are also being supported. Integration in automated environments or process control systems takes place over interfaces like TCP/IP, OPC, Modbus® or Profibus®. PAQXOS meets the requirements of FDA-regulated pharma industries and provides all safety functions, access controls and authentication methods stipulated in 21 CFR Part 11.
