The ARGON stretch-hood machine by Windmöller & Hölscher is arranged downstream of the palletizer. It automatically secures the stack of sacks ready for dispatch by applying a stretch hood. The process is fast, economic and renders optimal protection against slippage, breakage and contamination. Product can be stored outdoors without further protective measures.

The ARGON stretch hood machines are particularly impressive with their advanced stretching technology, which can run films of an extremely wide thickness range. They are well tailored for thinner films, making it easy to optimize the amount of resins used for load securing. The result is pallet stacks that meet exact specifications at an optimal cost and with minimal material usage.

DIAMANT is the FFS bagging machine specifically designed by Windmöller & Hölscher for continuous operation at high speeds. Main applications include the bagging of plastic resins or fertilizers, i.e. manufacturing processes which are highly dependent on the reliable and economical packaging of bulk solids.  

Owing to the rotary operating principle of the bag filling section, the machine provides optimal conditions for longevity, even in the roughest bagging environment. Intermediate keeping of the empty sacks in a separate cooling section just before filling guarantees high strength of bottom seals, permitting reliable filling in extremely short cycles even with high ambient temperatures. Minimizing the excess length at the top and bottom seals ensures the most economical usage of the film tube, resulting in a significant reduction of operating costs.

The optionally available corner sealing unit enhances the stability of the sack corners and ensures a perfect shape of the filled sacks – a requirement for neat stacking and an attractive presentation of the individual sack. As an added benefit, the corner seal avoids residual product left in the sacks upon emptying them.

And there is even more to your DIAMANT – its automatic roll change capability will give you increased effective up-time of the machine, resulting in higher bagging output.

PLATINUM is the layer palletizer made by Windmöller & Hölscher for stacking of sacks which were filled by the FFS- process. It is directly linked to the bagging machine. Internal processes in the packing plant like training, maintenance and spare parts logistics are simplified by the common layout of the operator panels on all machines involved using recurring graphic elements and by the application of uniform design standards, eliminating the need to adapt to third party components.

The design of the palletizer follows a modular principle featuring three output levels and different versions. It can be specifically configured to meet individual palletizing needs. The 2,800 bags/h version sets a new standard in palletizing bags. Remarkably, PLATINUM achieves this level of output without limiting any part of the size range of the FFS machine.

TOPAS SL is a high-performance FFS bagging machine suitable for use with a wide range of free flowing bulk solids. With its output of more than 2600 bags/h and its high efficiency it is most powerful bagging machine on the market. The machine excels with a large size range and can be equipped with a number of components specifically designed to suit the products to be bagged, such as a by-pass hopper, dust removal system, and washing capability. It can therefore be easily adjusted to the most diverse packaging requirements, with filling weights ranging from 5 kg to 50 kg. In addition to the gravity dosing method, volumetric dosing is available as an option.

Because of its compact design, the TOPAS SL is particularly suited for mobile operation in bagging terminals where it can be positioned under the individual product silos, as need be. Customers can select from rail- or wheel- based platform systems for mobilization.

The weigher is fabricated from high quality stainless steel, resulting in longevity, resistance to aggressive materials and outstanding ease of cleaning. The dosing system with a specially designed servo driven metering slide guarantees exactly reproducible weighing results.

Special configurations such as a wash-up version for frequent product change-overs, special sealing for the bagging of powdery products or an ATEX compliant design allow the weigher to be tailored to any specific bagging situation and environment. The weigher can also be used for the loading of silo-trucks, Big Bags or Octabins.

For maximum handling convenience, all settings and displays are integrated into the operator interface of the FFS bagging machine.
