The knowledge acquired in the bachelor program can then be deepened and expanded in our international master degree program Process Engineering and Energy Technology that is likewise offered at the University of Applied Science Bremerhaven.
Maritime Technologies provides students with an understanding of the oceans as the most important economic resource that simultaneously empower the development and use of high technology. Moreover, the course of studies deals here not only with the sea as an energy source, e.g. offshore wind turbines or undersea methane sources, but also as a space for the cultivation of aquatic organisms and with biological processes as a model for bioprocessing techniques.
Sustainable energy and enviromental technologies and process engineering and energy technologies
Sustainable energy and environmental technologies as well as process engineering and energy technology are course programs that deal with materials conversion technology such as, the conversion of biomass to methane or crude oil into gasoline. The focus here is on generating sustainable energy and environmentally friendly energy technology. Important components of the course are exhaust gas purification, waste prevention and recycling.
food technology / food processing
The degree program food technology / food processing is a combination of a natural and ingenious science education combined with business administration. This combination enables students to learn about both the processes of food production and processing as well as possible reactions to changes in the market and consumer habits.
