Flexible bulk solid containers for transport and warehouses are conquering a growing market segment. For FIBCs not only have huge advantages over sacks, barrels or metal containers as far as efficiency, functionality and price are concerned, but they have been found to be better for the environment, and save storage space and transport costs. HECHT discharge stations make full use of the potential of flexible bulk solid containers whilst at the same time being ideal for a large range of applications. This means FIBCs in any size can be discharged safely with or without an inliner.
SoliValve® technology is based on a low-cost passive split cone valve that can be integrated in a large range of bulk solid containers and then connected to an active docking unit. After a closed, i.e. airtight and dust-free connection has been made between the two components, the active unit opens the passive valve allowing the controlled transfer of the bulk solids. Once the material has been partially or completely discharged, the split cone valve is sealed tightly by the active unit and the containers can be undocked dust-free. After the bulk solid has been partially or completely discharged, the valve is sealed tightly by the active unit and the containers can be uncoupled without emitting dust.
