The product portfolio of our 91 series includes the ZS 91 S emergency pull-wire switches. Their enclosure, made of fibreglass-reinforced thermoplastic, withstands high mechanical wear and tear. In combination with stainless steel cover screws, this means high corrosion resistance. A lever release simplifies the handling of the switch. The pull-wire can be as long as 2 x 100 m, so that even large dangerous areas can be equipped with an immediately accessible emergency-stop function. The other safety functions are integrated wire-pull and wire-breakage detection. An emergency-stop signal can also be sent by an optional signalling lamp. The user has the choice between different switching systems with up to six contacts. Thus easy, standardised integration of the emergency pull-wire switch into the existing safety circuit is facilitated. Versions with an integrated Dupline safe bus module via plug-in connector are also optionally available.
The belt-alignment switch ZS 91 SR is equipped with the same enclosure as the ZS 91 S, but it uses an adjustable belt-alignment roller lever that monitors the correct performance of the conveyor-belt. If the conveyor-belt is misaligned, the belt is stopped or, for example, a warning signal is sent to the control room. A version with contact staggering is also available. Thus long downtimes due to misalignment of a fully loaded conveyor belt can be avoided. Even here versions with a Dupline safe bus module can be realised instead of conventional wired switchgear. Wireless solutions could also be an option.
The third variant of the new 91 series is the heavy duty position switch ES 91 DL, which ensures reliable position monitoring on machines and plants in heavy duty industries. In all three variants optimised design – in combination with state-of-the-art manufacturing technology – facilitates realisation of high degrees of protection from IP 66 to IP 67, as well as continuous application even under extreme environmental conditions.
