Due to the often raising amounts of raw materials as well as the increasing number of raw materials in the plants an increasing of silo and dosing capacities is required. The following criteria was considered:
- simple construction
- possibility of a simple expansion
- independent possibility of operation
- multifunctional applicability
- low investment costs
- low required space
- short assembly time
The silo capacity is developed for a complete discharge of a tank truck. The dosing aggregates, the weighing, the conveyance station of raw materials, the air production, the control as well as the stairway up to the silo roof are positioned inside the construction.
All components of the plant are positioned inside the plant. This is advantageous because the
components are not exposed to weather conditions. A further advantage is the minimizing of the dust exposure for the environment.
For the conveyance of the raw materials to the production the dense phase conveying was chosen.
The advantages contrary to an angle bucket elevator, a bag conveyor or a pipe chain conveyor are the clean discharging, the flexible design of the conveying path as well as the possibility to
distribute the weighed raw materials to several production lines.
Due to the pneumatic conveyance the raw materials will be conveyed directly into the weighing system without intermediate storage. The function of the existing screws which are positioned on the receiving hopper is not influenced. Due to the direct filling of the weighing system a control weighing of the conveyed materials is possible.
