The Siloadmaxx-Technology can load and unload even finest powders and dusts into ISO-standard containers at low costs and almost without emissions.
The silo-truck has led the way. Loose loadings with savings in packaging and with an increased payload. That way it could establish itself through its cost effectiveness.
Special boxes or big bags are commonly used when bulk goods are to be transported via container. With the in 2008 developed and patented Siloadmaxx® system special liner bags are used in contrary, which utilize the full space of a container and protect the material from moisture and dirt: the Siloadmaxx®-Superbags. This reduces the loss of loaded material and ensures a higher quality in transport safety. Aside from an increased efficiency, costs can be saved as well. “We can calculate an accurate price comparison for our customers within a short time. In this benchmark we compare the individual cost drivers for common container transports using big bags to our Siloadmaxx®-technology. When taking a volume of 20,000 tons PVB (Polyvinylbutyral), with a specific bulk weight, that go from Germany to Thailand, that benchmark calculates savings of €2.5 million annually”, explains Christian Hanses, CEO of Siloadmaxx.
In markets like starch, activated coal, carbon black, … similar savings can be achieved: through efficiency, less packaging and optimal usage of 40’ High Cube containers. To assure safety during the process with such challenging materials, Siloadmaxx® systems can also be certified according to ATEX or HACCP standards.
The Siloadmaxx®-process works on the principle of a mobile loading and unloading technology, which enables an emission-free loading and unloading of additives, wheat, powders or dusts in a closed process. With ideal preconditions up to 25 tons can be loaded within 25 minutes. An additional advantage: all 20’-, 30’- or 40’-ISO containers can be used for transport. A general rule for the Siloadmaxx®-technology: “We load and unload everything, a silo-truck could do as well”. However, in the cheaper transport medium: the standard ISO container.
Closed material flow cycle excludes contamination
Technically the Siloadmaxx®-system is based on pneumatic material conveying. The material is transferred through a telescopable pipe system into the container (prepared with a Siloadmaxx®-Superbag) by using a high-volume stream. Due to immediate suction and filtering of dust particle out of the conveying air during the loading process, almost all dust particle containing material will be segregated from further conveying. The filtered material can be brought back into the material stream using a bypass, ensuring a completely closed material flow cycle.
For unloading the material our Container QuickFlow (CQF) system is applied. This unit is mobile as well and will be attached to the container twist locks for unloading. The material is brought into motion with the support of a fluidization and the tilting of the container. The powder will then flow without distractions out of the Siloadmaxx®-Superbag into a rotary valve and finally into the receiving storage container assigned by the customer.
