Not only does Schniewindt heating technology comprise the development, manufacture and distribution of heating elements and units for the heating of gases, fluids and solids of all types even in hazardous and firedamp environments, but also that of complete systems including electronic controls and pumps.
In the field of electric resistor technology, our project teams develop and manufacture high-performance ohmic resistors for low and high voltages for load banks and for testing, filtering and damping of harmonics as well as AC and DC voltage dividers and electronic instrument and calibration transformers. All equipment is designed to meet international and national standards as well as customer specifications.
Electric traffic engineering benefits from our know-how and our experience in heating and resistor technology. We sell heating systems for the preheating of diesel engines in maritime and railway train applications, along with braking resistors for locomotives, rail traction vehicles and marine propulsion systems with or without forced cooling.
Today, Schniewindt is a company with 120 employees, among them 20 engineers, who meet the demanding technical challenges of customer-based projects.
