With OKS scanner, bulk goods such as flour and semolina, are examined for color, brightness and impurities. Even products with a low contrast and low color differences, such as white specks in a white non-woven material, can be measured reliably by the OKS scanner system.
The system is very user-friendly and self-explanatory. Through an integrated database and the small footprint of the files a long tracebality of all measurements is guaranteed.
Upon request, the orders can be printed and handed over to the customer directly.
Because the system performs an objective and reproducible measurement, it enables the company to save costs and to significantly accelerate the processes in the laboratory.
The OKS scanner is a set of proven speck counter software, a sample container with accessories and a high-quality CCD scanner. The system can be connected to an existing laboratory PC and requires a Windows operating system (XP, Vista, 7, 8).
The special feature of this system is an objective and reliable measurement of colors and specks and the great reference surface (about 6 dm²). By different personnel and changing light conditions, the analysis by the human eye is inaccurate and provides subjective results.
Easy to install, fast to use and versatile
For initiation the laboratory needs only to install the bundled software and drivers and connect the scanner to a PC. The supplied "Quick Start Guide" helps. Within minutes OKS scanner is ready for use.
For each new product, a new color scale is created. This process takes a few minutes. On request there can also be a service via remote maintenance or by telephone call.
Products such as paper or fabric can be placed and processed directly on the scanner. For the placement of free-flowing bulk goods on the scanner a specially designed container was developed by us. This container is extremely light and has a transparent acrylic glass plate on the bottom through which the sample is scanned. The laboratory personnel just have to add the examined product (e.g. flour or semolina), and then click on the "restart job" button.
The software assumes the speck-counting and the color analysis, followed by an automatic visualization and data storage. The system has a built-in language translation and is preconfigured at delivery for German and English users. On request, the system can be translated into any other language, for example, French, Spanish, Italian, etc.
