Clean rooms are essential to meeting today’s constantly increasing standards of quality. What used to vary from industry to industry and region to region is now specified in the EN ISO 14644-1 standard with its clearly defined ISO clean room classes. The different classes are based on the amount of airborne particles permitted in the clean room.
Clean rooms are used in the production of microelectronics, in laboratories, in the food and beverage industry, and in many other sectors. TBH has been doing business in this field for many years and offers a broad range of extraction systems for a wide variety of processes in the ISO classes 3, 5, 7 and 9. Thanks to TBH’s popular modular design concept, the CR series offers features such as contamination-free filter replacement right in the clean room.
The series also offers advantages such as a variety of filter configurations, including the Z filter package with a large Z-line panel filter (F7) as a pre-filter and a downstream particulate matter filter (H14 HEPA filter). This package is used for applications with high fine dust emission levels. The A filter package is for use in clean room processes in which vapours or gaseous molecules are produced. It includes both an activated carbon filter and a downstream particulate matter filter. Depending on customer requirements, an additional “police filter” (an H13 particulate matter filter) can also be mounted on the exhaust panel.
Regardless of the filter configuration, the CR series also comes in a variety of models, including: CR-LN 230, CR-LN 265 or CR-GL 230 and CR-GL 265. Each of these CR systems is continuously variable. The main differences between them are their extraction power levels and their filter areas. All CR devices from TBH are made of stainless steel to allow easy cleaning and ensure fulfilment of additional standards of quality.
