CellaBatch recipe management system was designed for batch processing applications. For more than 30 years, KELLER HCW GmbH has been providing control systems for mixing facilities. Based on this experience and
expertise, we have developed new batch management software, employing technologies which have proven to be highly robust and reliable. CellaBatch features client/server architecture based on Microsoft .NETFramework 3.5. The features of the integrated SQL Server 2005 create a wide variety of capabilities, utilizing advanced BI functionality as part of a comprehensive BI platform.

CellaBatch can be used as a stand-alone solution or integrally with KELLER HCW CellaTrace process control system. When used together with CellaTrace, you will not need to define the products and the process cells in CellaBatch, since this data will be communicated from a mutual master data base, thus preventing double entries or inconsistencies. Recipe editing is independent of process control engineering, thus enabling one specific recipe to be processed at different mixing lines. The recipe contains data pertaining to the batch event (scales, tanks, mixing vessels), the raw materials used, control commands, and other parameters relevent to the recipe such as mixing times and process temperatures. Source allocation is integrated with recipe execution. The raw material destination (batch mixer) identifies the raw material source (supply ank, silo) based on the material source list. The control commands included in the recipe are converted to process control commands which are specified to the selected process. The defined recipe batches are assigned to the actual processing batches.
