Zetasizer Nano – the versatile solution
Provides characterization of the size of nanoparticles emulsions and proteins, both for dilute and concentrated samples, as well as zeta potential and molecular weight. Coupled with the MPT-2 Autotitrator, pH conductivity and additive trends can be automated.
The Zetasizer Nano-S and Nano-ZS measure particle size in the range 0.6 nm to 10 micron diameter, using as little as 12 µL of sample, making it possible to conserve scarce or precious materials. Measurement of absolute molecular weight using the classical Debye plot is supported by a standard operating procedure that guides the user, and can be completely automated using the new MPT-2 autotitrator. The MPT-2 autotitrator also automates the titration of pH, conductivity or other additives as a function of particle size and zeta potential. Determination of the effect of changes in these parameters is often necessary, as measurements under a single set of conditions rarely provide sufficient information for sample characterisation. A titration requires less than 3 mL of sample, and as well as the cell, all tubing in the flow path is fully disposable. The software package is fully validated. It encompasses the recommendations of the ISO 13321 standard and allows users to meet FDA requirements for 21 CFR Part 11 compliance. As well as the standard package that covers all the requirements of routine operation, there is an additional option for applications requiring advanced data manipulation.

Zetasizer APS - for automation of size using micro well-plates
Automates the size measurement of samples in 96- or 384-well microplates to improve personnel productivity.
Designed primarily for protein specialists, the Zetasizer APS is fully automated, simply requiring users to insert the plate and start a plate schedule. A graphical result display simplifies the assessment of large amounts of data in order to pick out trends and ‘hot spots’.
The Zetasizer Nano ZSP delivers enhanced sensitivity and comes with advanced software that drives the two new measurement types in a single, compact unit. One of the most significant applications is the measurement of the zeta potential, or electrophoretic mobility of proteins. This process is further simplified by the inclusion of a new protein mobility measurement type in the software that controls data acquisition, guiding the user through the measurement and assesses and reports on data quality.
