AZO, the trendsetter in automatic handling of raw materials offers an overall solution considering the requirements of a state-of-the-art food production.
In the meantime batch preparation systems are required providing a hourly throughput of 20 to 30 BATCHTAINER®s with up to ten or more precisely weighed components. In the centre of attention is the avoidance of risks like dust during product handling, operator and product safety, cross-contamination and human faults like exchanging of product. Corresponding to the new ATEX guideline compliance to the valid regulations are a must. The same is valid in regard to hazards to employees and to operational safety as well as obligations in regard to “TA-Luft” (technical instruction for purification of air) and other legal regulations.
The AZO COMPONENTER® in combination with an AZO DOSINENTER® is meetint the above mentioned requirements by a ShutteDos®-unit. In the AZO COMPONENTER® the major components have been provided from silos by means of a vacuum weighing system, the medium components from big bag discharge stations and the smaller once from bag dumping stations in order to be collected according to formula and to be weighed into a BATCHTAINER® exactly dosed.
This kind of ShuttleDos® was about a moveable floor scale which was used for this purpose. In addition a conversion from floor scale into a hanging version of the ShuttleDos® system allowing a fast batch preparation without ground contact.
In the DOSINENTER®s area there where several dosing places equipped with DosiBox®es. At the end the batch containers including the precisely weighed components has been provided to the following production
process, mostly a mixing process.
The complete system was controlled by a hsh process leading system where a KASTOR program covers all relevant functions for safe control of this system.
Due to HACCP screening is coming to the fore AZO, the specialist for cyclone screening technology has shown several concepts to meet the HACCP guidelines in the safety screening sector:
- at supply of major quantities from silo vehicles
- at product intake for bags and big bags
- inline during production
- before filling resp. packing
On 1st January 2006 the regulation (EG) no. 852/2004 on food hygiene became effective. According to this all companies handling foodstuffs resp. confectionaries are obliged to initiate a complete HACCP system.
