Gadjet is a newly-developed, fluidized-bed opposed jet type mill by KURIMOTO. It inherits the benefits of existing fluidized-bed opposed jet such as higher pulverizing efficiency and high precision classifying, but is also improved its remained challenges such as making specimen of small amount and collection ratio of sticky materials which easily adhered to inner surface of chamber.
By centrifugal force generated by a rotation of a separator located in the center of the grind chamber, raw materials conveyed toward inner circumference and pulverized by counter-jet flow ejected from opposed nozzles in the circumference. The inner-surface area of pulverizing chamber is designed as big as minimum required, and the centrifugal force by a separator and jet stream from nozzles in circumference prevent adhesion of materials on inner surface of the chamber. This mill is suitable for the purpose of R&D of higher valued material in a small quantity
