Collaborative Research Center 814 – Additive Manufacturing
The Collaborative Research Center 814 (CRC 814) - Additive Manufacturing deals with the basic research in the field of powder and beam based additive manufacturing processes.
In the future, parts should be produced from plastic or metal powders without specific tooling. Away from rapid prototyping to manufacturing, these technologies are made fit within the CRC 814 to produce serial components in the desired quality.
Since 2011, more than 35 scientists have worked at the Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg FAU on this interdisciplinary major project in 15 sub-projects in the three project areas powder, processes and components.
University Erlangen-Nürnberg SFB 814 - Additive Fertigung offers you products from these product groups:
- Basic processing technologies for powder and bulk material (1319)
- Plant engineering and processing components (1367)
- Measurement, control, automation (348)
- Services (504)
